Refurbishment of the reception-level public areas of Beacon Island.
This refurbishment to the highest quality included the Captain's Cabin / Robberg Room restaurants, the swimming pool area hardscaping and the construction of a new boomed entrance gatehouse. Electrical distribution boards serving the areas were also upgraded. The works were carried out during the COVID-19 level 3 lockdown period. A separate project implemented remedial works to the driveway bend paving subsidence resulting from tidal action through the corresponding section of the rotating sea wall, which was stabilised.
